When you sign up for Level 4, you will be ready to own a larger more challenging bird such as large Falcons, eagles or accipiter hawks. You will then begin housing and training it by yourself. A daily log and diary entry is to be filled out and regular updates with our instructor are mandatory as this will allow us to keep an eye on your progress as well as the birds health. If at any time we feel that you are not complying with the rules the bird will be confiscated and you will not be awarded the Level 4 certificate. When signing up for Level 4 you will also be able to train and participate in the regional falconry race that takes place in January and February.*

 

If at any time you feel you need a top up on a particular subject, you will also be able to join any of the Level 1 theoretical classes throughout the duration of the course. You may also join/assist in any other classes taking place at any time.

 

Once the skills for each of these sessions are marked off in your Log Book and you have passed the written and practical tests, you will have completed your Level 4 Certification Course. You will hold the knowledge, skills and experience to house, take care of and train birds of prey of all breeds and will be considered a Bahrain Falconry School Master Falconer.

*Only Bahraini nationals can register birds for the regional falcon race, however, non-Bahrainis can still participate. Also please note that due to Middle Eastern traditions and customs, only males can participate in the falconry races.
